"Welcome to FKB Nation and thanks for joining the movement toward effective fatherhood! Since 1994, “Father Knows Best” and our FISLL Curriculum have helped strengthen the fatherhood and mentoring relationships of more than 2,000 participants in six cities across the country. This program puts life lessons in a format where basketball is important, but where the fundamentals of manhood or fatherhood are the lasting results. By joining this site, participating in our programs and conversations about effective fatherhood, and encouraging your friends and family to do the same, you’re making a real difference toward ending the crisis of absentee fatherhood in America. We welcome you to our family!" - Allan Houston

The Allan Houston Legacy Foundation is pleased to bring back the “Tickets Together” program where contest winners receive two tickets to a Knicks game and $100 spending money. Thanks to the generosity of Dr. Mitch Chasin (who attended “Father Knows Best” with his sons Danny and Matthew in 2010), Father-Child and Mentor-Mentee pairs will enjoy the action of Knicks games in Madison Square Garden throughout the 2011-2012 Season – it’s a great chance to spend some quality time together!

Participating is easy, just go to the "Tickets Together" Group and follow the instructions in the Forum at the bottom. Each contest awards tickets to the best essay, photo or video on the concepts of FISLL (Faith, Integrity, Sacrifice, Legacy and Leadership). Participate today and contact us at ticketstogether@allanhouston.com with any questions. See you at Madison Square Garden!

The Allan Houston Legacy Foundation (AHLF) has teamed up with the iStar Foundation to produce the iStar Charity Shootout 5-Borough Basketball Tour presenting Allan Houston’s Father Knows Best Program.
With a successful launch in Upper-Manhattan on October 15th, 2011, this fun and interactive family Tour will continue through the Winter of 2012 making stops in all five boroughs of New York City. With the purpose of improving the lives of New Yorkers by helping to strengthen family relationships, educate our youth, promote human rights and decrease poverty, proceeds from the iStar Charity Shootout will go toward launching AHLF's seven-week FISLL Program in each borough and other worthwhile charities.
The Tour made its way to Staten Island on February 12th and was a tremendous success (see photos & feedback below). We look forward to seeing everyone on future Tour stops, so check here for updates and visit the iStar Charity Shootout Website for more info on the Shootout. See you again later this year!
